Fellik

A ghostly petitioner who returned to Sigil from Mount Celestia

What You Know

You met Fellik in the Lady’s Ward, and he was in trouble. A ghostly petitioner—blue, transparent, dressed in a simple belted tunic—Fellik was being interrogated by Amod Ka, a Mercykiller Bloodhound, who was demanding to know the whereabouts of Fellik’s father, Valder.

Fellik died several years ago in Sigil and was taken to Mount Celestia to prove his devotion to a god of righteousness, Bahamut. But instead of staying in the celestial realm as a petitioner, he left and returned to Sigil to find his father. That alone should tell you something about Fellik: he’s loyal, maybe even to a fault.

The problem is, his father is a fugitive. Valder was a Mercykiller who refused to bring in a bounty he believed was innocent. That act of mercy cost other faction members their lives when they pursued the bounty Valder let go. The Mercykillers put a bounty on Valder’s head, and now Amod Ka is hunting him.

Fellik honestly didn’t know where his father was when you met him—he’d only just returned to Sigil. He was terrified, holding his hands up defensively as Amod’s blades scraped against stone. This wasn’t a hardened criminal; this was a young man caught between his loyalty to his father and the unforgiving justice of the Mercykillers.

Word is, Valder was last seen in Curst, a gate-town where the Mercykillers have no jurisdiction. Whether Fellik ever finds him—and what happens if he does—is anyone’s guess.
